How does it work?
Laser hair removal works by beaming a highly concentrated light directed to the hair follicles. The pigments in the follicle absorb the light, which in turn breaks down the follicle and prevents the hair from regrowing.

2-Alexandrite Laser (Appogee+™ & Elite+™ from Cynosure®), optimal for patients that have white skin and fair or dark hair.
3- Nd: YAG Laser (Appogee+™ & Elite+™ from Cynosure ®), is ideal for darker and tanned skin types.

Get a free touch-up session after 10 to 14 days
A touch-up session is scheduled in between sessions to target the hair that went under the radar during your previous session. The touch-up session’s duration ranges from a couple of minutes to a maximum of 15 minutes depending on the treated area.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Laser Hair Removal
Before your session:
1) Avoid waxing, tweezing, bleaching, depilatories or electrolysis of treated areas for at least two weeks prior to the treatment.
2) Avoid Retin A, Accutane, bleaching, exfoliating creams, and facial peels before 10 to 14 days.
3) Avoid exposing the area to the sun, tanning beds or self- tanning creams 2 weeks prior to your session.
4) Remove Henna on treated areas one day prior to your session.
During your session:
1) Remove any deodorant, powder, makeup, and wear loose clothes.
2) Avoid applying any kind of essential oils or perfumes on the areas to be treated.
3) Depending on the surface of the are to be treated, a session may last between 10 and 60 minutes.
After your session:
1) To alleviate the redness immediately post treatment, splash the treated area with cold water often, and apply a soothing cream every 2 to 3 hours for a period of 2 to 3 days.
2) Avoid rubbing or scratching the treated area.
3) Avoid very hot showers or swimming in chlorinated water
4)Always remember, to use sunscreen SPF 50 on the treated areas at all times DURING and After your treatment.
5)Usually, hair in treated areas falls off right away; but in some cases, it can take up to 2 weeks for the hair to fall away. This process can be helped along by gentle use of a washcloth or body scrub for 4 to 5 days after treatment.
