About the Treatment

How does it work?

Laser hair removal works by beaming a highly concentrated light directed to the hair follicles. The pigments in the follicle absorb the light, which in turn breaks down the follicle and prevents the hair from regrowing.

Frequently Asked Questions
1
Will it hurt? On average people describe a feeling of moderate stinging or tingling. However, pain is relative to every person – once you undergo your first session you will start calibrate your threshold accordingly. You are also offered the option of applying a topical anesthetic cream. Also, a lot of patients report feeling less pain, during LHR, after applying our double cooling technology that numbs the skin, reduces swelling, enhances healing and prompts safety.
2
How many sessions do I need? You need multiple sessions to remove hair permanently, but you’ll reap the benefits of LHR from the first day. Your skin will look healthier and feel smoother, and you’ll notice a considerable amount of hair loss in treated areas.
3
Do I have to shave before my facial laser session? With the new advancements in the field of laser hair removal, you are not required to remove hair with a razor before treating facial areas.
4
Is laser hair removal for everyone? Laser hair removal will not work on white, grey, light red or light blond hair follicles – we usually treat these cases using Electrolysisince it doesn’t rely on targeting the pigment in the follicle to kill the hair. Women with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), may experience poor results unless they receive medical support along with the laser treatment.
5
When will I start seeing results? You will start seeing results after your very first session, and you will notice all through your treatment that hair in treated areas is dwindling. Eventually, you will reduce 15% to 20% of hair growth permanently each session.
