Electroepilation
Introducing the world class Electroepilation therapy.
What is Electroepilation?
It is a treatment that uses sterile, disposable, very fine and thin needles that destroy the cells responsible for hair growth.
Electroepilation or electrolysis gets rid of fine hair of various colors, even hair over tattoos.

Electroepilation is Electrolysis, just to make things clear!
Some hairs sprout out of nowhere! Well, not really, there are various factors why random hairs appear on the face and body, ranging from hormonal imbalances to diet and so forth.
However, their presence is undesired! We all agree on that!
At Silkor, we use the Apilus Electrolysis machine during the electrolysis treatment as it treats white and blond hairs that cannot be treated by Laser hair removal. The combination between laser hair removal and electroepilation is the best for a total solution for hair removal.
Electroepilation is very effective too as a post laser treatment for the 5 to 10% of fine hair left on the body and facial areas.
How does it work?
The steps are simple and effective.
– A probe (thin and soft needle) is inserted into the hair follicle.
– A brief very low electric current is released.
– The hair is removed without resistance with tweezers. After each epilation session, we use Cataphoresis (if there are no contraindications to direct current) which is a positively charged aftercare treatment.
This diminishes redness providing soothing protection to the treated area.
No pain over here!
There are no nerve receptors on the hair follicles, and since the current only targets that, then there’s no pain over here!
Yet, pain thresholds vary from one person to the next, and we take that into high consideration. If you find it too uncomfortable, you can apply an anesthetic cream to the treated area before the session.

Hence, why we ensure our specialists undergo the proper training to handle the latest equipment, complete the procedure, alongside pledging to comfort the client during the treatment.
Let’s talk sessions!
Hair passes through stages of growth and that plays a major role in the electroepilation sessions, not to mention that every follicle needs to be targeted at least twice.
The number of sessions will be discussed during your free consultation!
